I think he lacks the power to help him, you know how powerful Lister is right?
I tried looking for spoilers but didn’t find any so this is just my assumption.
When you’re in position of power, timing and strategy is everything. While ML is the king of Epssen, the current political restraints & turmoil between Epssen and MC’s country is holding him back. If I remember correctly he’s been trying to negotiate with the current lord, to no avail. From what I understand, ML is just trying to not be reckless so MC won’t be put in an even worse situation… because it is heavily implied their relationship is not exactly secret to a lot of people.
ML’s plans and intentions is not revealed yet because well… storytelling.

It’s making me so damn angry that he’s not doing anything to get him out of that house. He sees him, sees that his in a trash condition and just want to fucking kiss him and nothing more?
I’m so damn angry right now.
Can someone spoil me something , make me understand this? But I think I can’t get on reading this if there’s not a proper explanation.
