I think they are humans... but like... in the darkness faction or something? And that Gehena place is where the true demons live? Honestly I'm a bit confused... was the war between the 2 factions os the 2 together again a 3rd party? It's confusing... but still nice to read tho...
I’m a little confused too, but it seems like there’s a light magic faction, and a dark magic one. They’re opposing elements and the groups are too. The dark faction uses its magic to control/ contract/ employ demons. Also they seem to guard seals/gates that lead to the demon realm.
They all seem to be human, but the humanoid ones like his banshee maid and the butler are like low level demons.
Then in MC’s past life he was in the light faction. He wants to prevent the end of the world that happened due to the sealed demons invading their world. (Both factions fought together to try and prevent this in his past life).
He’s trying to take over the dark faction to prevent infighting before the war happens to preserve their forces.
