Help needed

Help I'm very slow, can someone explain me why mc isn't talking to Jingi anymore?
I thought it was because he discovered he did something awful, but he didn't care that Heonjae cut someone's leg off, so I think I missed something. Also, I'm still confused about this inmate number

Heonjae's inmate number at ochon is 7316. And Heonjae thinks that because Myeonggi didn't remember his number correctly, he's overthinking and assumes Myeonggi doesn't care about him. (Which is kind of true but Myeonggi corrected himself)

Also I got no fucking idea why Jingi is being so quiet lately. I assume it's because Myeonggi is avoiding him because of the letter...

I think it's from quiet a few chapters ago where myeongill read whatever was in the letters about jingi. He has been avoiding him alot and spending time with mainly hyeonjae. Then they banged cuz he wanted to find out more and now it's like a weird middle of ignoring him but knowing he's there

cmiiw, i think he only avoids Jingi, because he can kinda understand Heonjae’s situation, wherein Heonjae was being “used” and abused(?) by the teacher, thus making him mentally incapacitated(meaning he did it because he wasn’t in his right mind). Although what Heonjae did is wrong in many ways, I guess Myeongil pities him(?), whereas with Jingi, well, we don’t exactly know what Jingi did, but maybe he did the crime that he did just for his own satisfaction, maybe? lol

I have also heard some theorize that the uncle committed child abuse and had Jingi serve the time instead. Myeongil has younger siblings so he would find that crime a lot worse than what Heonjae did.
