I feel like getting into a relationship expecting to be loved how you love someone isnt selfish. I dont think his situation is pitiful considering it started off as him looking down on her. Like she said he should’ve let her know from the get go
How was she selfish??? He’s literally the one who asked her out!!!!!! She didn’t force him to be in a relationship!!!! She was as committed as he was and as supportive, she just felt things were off because they were, there was no romantic feelings from his side and she could feel it. She would sometimes think that maybe he’s just with her as an obligation because of that off feeling because why else would things be so off?? It’s because she didn’t know he was aro!!! If she knew he was aro then she wouldn’t have thought she was selfish. He benefitted from this relationship and her love and by deceiving her, there is no way around it, he benefitted the most, he benefitted from her romantic love. He didn’t even have any guilt throughout the relationship because he just thoughts things were ok since he was doing all the things a good boyfriend would do.
isn't the whole thing called selfish romance BECAUSE she was being very selfish in her persual of him (getting heavily involved in his family to win their and eventually his favor just bc she had a crush). I think the point is that they were both being selfish and that was to the detriment of their relationship.

My goodness. She saved the dad out of kindness and she really did cared for him. But what happened after, that is the thing we're talking about. Her always visiting the hospital, stopping school to help them. That's the POINT where she said that she's selish cause the motive behind it is selfish. That's because she really did want to get closer to iseon! Ofcourse iseon's family didn't ask any of this. Yumin offered it herself.

No she wasnt using his family issues to get closer to him. She didnt help the teacher with that in mind otherwise she wouldnt be upset at him thinking its "a debt to be repaid" granted her helping them out did give her access to be closer to him but she didnt use that just to date him, she didnt even expect to get with him.

But yep, she hung around and helped out after his dad was in the hospital to get closer to him, that’s completely true.
