I feel Tev was chosen as this timelines ML as a safe choice. Their chemistry wasn’t bad, and fit the events to build a bit. It was a cute romance tho I get the forced feel.
But I agree Sylphide would be a great ML as well, but he fell more into an elder brother role on this version of Sylvia. Also for some reason I can hear “A Thousand Years “ whenever I read his love story.
And then there’s the Crown Prince, felt too cinderella-ish. Like K-drama Cinderella plot.
Yea maybe that was the reason to choose Tev, but since Sylphide was always there beside her from the start i kinda wanted him more. The crown prince though was not well thought as a character.
The story plot and the twist were good. But what about the family? They had no interactions whatsoever and boom everything just revolves around Sylvia after she gains powers, family, society everyone.
Tev as a ML was okay. I personally loved Tev but the romance felt forced. Could've been a bit more detailed and slow.
Honestly would've loved it best if Sylphide was the ML. The crown prince was unnecessary to be included as a love rival.
Else it's a good read nevertheless.
