A kid is just innocently joking they wanna marry someone. Grooming is when the adult intentionally manipulates a child to use them (sexually, monetarily, or for leverage)...and none of that is happening here. Not a word to throw around when there's a potential age gap coupling (that may or may not happen). He just wanted to check on her like you said, and even said she could forget about him.
It's still a wholesome series.

This ended really well. I like it. The grooming was uncalled for but I kind of understand the dragon(forgot his name) he's got through a lot and just wanted to know how she was doing and if she was happy in this life. Well it was a pleasure going down this journey with y'all ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
