Also in the beginning when he was running the bookstore I believe it was called, "Hanna's books". So he probably spent the rest of his life thinking of her, or hoping to find her. Which also explains why any of the money he earned was savings for Hanna too. Just for that to be stolen by 'the glory'. SMH
