Bcuz this comic is very poorly written and all the characters are one dimensional with no real issues or motivations
I mean the author can easily use homophobia as a reason why JK is such a douchebag.
Like for example he got into fighting/boxing bcuz some school bullies beat him up when he was a teen bcuz he was with his boyfriend or bcuz he looked gay or just bcuz he was peony, Thats why he is always unfeeling and uncaring and thats why he likes to keep his rough exterior intact??? Like thats something that happens, it is very cliche and overused but ANYTHING is better than this fuckass writing.
Like its very easy to make a plot
But the author isn't going to take on any real issues in this comic, bcuz thats simply "too much work" and bcuz why would she change a story whose already bringing her bag?
I remember when Kim Dan rejected that celeb actor, everyone in gym knew about it and they all reacted normally, even saying how Kim Dan could reject someone like him and stuff. But due to poor writing, somehow they never suspected Kim Dan and JK being glued at the hip all the time lol
yeah that’s a good point!! idk it kinda seems like in this “group” they just dgaf about it or heesung himself may be “out” so maybe they just assumed that like doc dan would either reject him or wouldn’t and it didn’t matter to them either way? like esp now after heesung and potato are in whatever relationship they’re in, potato must’ve figured out Jaekyung is gay just from the situation of kim dan and what heesung says about “don’t tell jaekyung you saw kim dan because it’ll only make kim dan’s life more difficult”
like idk i feel like in BJ alex jiwon was super concerned with others finding out he’s gay meanwhile JK doesn’t seem to show it concern at all. i wonder if anyone at the gym like his coaches and other athletes know he’s gay. sexuality itself isn’t brought up in jinx nearly as much as it was in bj alex
