ML is the cause of Taeshin's, the dead friend, suicide. He drove Taeshin into hell and caused him to be a boy toy for disgusting elites. ML did that to get some advantages from it. ML is just a type to use anything for his purpose, a cold blooded bastard.
After MC finds out, ML will just do the lame redemption ever. Nobody really get a fuck about Taeshin. MC reported ML just to wash his little bit of guilty feelings to someone he ever know; Taeshin.

Nonetheless, it can't be a justification for Taeshin to be SA-ed. MC can just drove Taeshin away and draw the line, but he didn't because Taeshin is the very few people who still stay in his life. Just found out clowns were spreading misinformation about the ending this whole time and did not bother to clarify that they didn’t actually read the ending. I assume you all know what ML did to Taeshin, that part is true. But ML did not get away with it, MC makes sure to put him in jail, which is impressive, because ML has a lot of influence. He stays in jail for a year and after that they end up together. While it’s not enough of a punishment, he does not get away with it.
