Im not defending her cause it is frustrating but in her case she doesnt believe she is worth his love cause she wants to step down if any of her siblings is alive but ye not accepting hin when she clearly loves him too sucks
I mean in their world, he's engaged to her older sister (that may or may not still be alive) and she's had the understanding that at best she'd be pawned off for political favor. That's just the basics of being a royal. On top of that she's been desperate her whole life to essentially go unnoticed just to stay alive. Her family and I'm guessing the court is pretty brutal.
