I use it to check updates on novels that are not fully translated yet. And if I get impatient enough, I just read there while using mtl. I haven't gotten any weird pop-up ads, the GIFS are just annoying while reading with the lights off because it's so colorfully chaotic. I'm not 100% sure it's safe though. I've been using occasionally using it for about 2 years now.

Btw, if you need to search up a novel but can't search it because the english translated title can't be found and you need the korean title, just go to a manhwa (in mgg) and they usually have the korean title below the manhwa cover. Just copy-paste that onto the search bar. You could also search for the korean title on google.
