    kou was literally just a highschool boy, dealing with loss, grief and wanting to support others. he may have made some bad decisions but that doesn't make him a "red flag" bruh

    louudeerrr for the people in the back.. honestly i just keep getting back to read this bc how are they so misunderstood. the characters are so nuanced and i loved reading them bc theyre so dear and real to me

    honestly one day i'll write a whole analysis of this manga everyone misunderstands it SO BAD. i think one of the main reasons behind it is because kou isn't the "perfect" male lead who only has one thing on his mind which is to win the female lead over. bcs in shoujos male leads mostly only exist for the sake of pursuing the girl no matter what. so they cant accept kou being his own independent person on here, who thinks for himself first. who acts on the basis of his own past experiences. OKAY I'LL SHUT UP BUT UGHHHHHH
