So technically, he did die but Rei like tried to find a cure but I think the hero said nah iz okay I love you anyways. And Rei like buried hero in the demon realm and like years passes and he like visits the grave everyday and then he suddenly like heard a voice. Then next panel flips to the overworld in the train station. Yamato was there and Rei was waiting inside the train. I don't understand Portuguese I just like guessed what they said based on the expression and what little I know of the language. But Yamato(hero) said I love you （/TДT)/ It was very sweet(◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
