Man went to jail and passed his time but it's still not enough...bro the rape wasn't necessary. He didn't abuse of the kid, jail is enough punishment...this is so wrong...Also, the parents chose to take their own life, they stopped looking for their kid...Why blame the kidnapper that much and say he deserve worst than rape When you know he took good care of the kid...so wrong... Since when rape is ok?Like for anyone...#-.-)

First, you should change your perspective.
Innocent child > whatever kindness you thought was important

What made you think that the parents wouldn't love him more than the kidnapper ever did?

The parents took their own lives because they blamed themselves.

The kidnapper didn't do a great job raising him.
The kidnapper introduced himself as the only thing the boy ever needs then imprisoned him, not letting any other human interactions.
Because of that, the kidnapper was the only "love" the boy knows. His understanding between different kind of love (parental, sibling, friendship, romantic, etc) is now screwed.
This is an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth kind of justice
The kidnapper did whatever he wants from the kid for 10 years, making him the child that he wasn't, stripping him of the chance to be loved by other people.
Now the kid will show him love for 10 years too, it's the kidnapper's fault that that love is fuck up.

Well I get your perspective, it's the "an eye for an eye" that is wrong for me, on many level...i might be bias by the christian way of thinking lol like "don’t do what you don’t want people to do to you". Also thanks for commenting. I love those kind of interaction and exchange of opinion without insult :)

I remove every religious cell i had in my body whenever i open this website, so my opinion most of the time is based psychologically and the small details the author left.
In stories like this, i stopped asking what's right nor wrong and focus on how point a escalate to point b and if all the small details has linear relationship, that's how i judge a character or scene. If there's a plothole, then i would've agreed that a scene or the plot itself was unnecessary and i most likely would drop immediately.

Most people agreed with me because they believed in Karma.
