I found this manga to be really interesting for “teenage pregnancy” topic.
It’s not easy to go through such experience which can happen even if the partners are using condoms. To be 100% safe from pregnancy girls should get the afterday pill (especially if you have a doubt for wathever reason after the intercourse).

I find that this story doesn’t fully cover all the topics becauze there are cases where teens don’t have support or decide to go for the abortion etc..

But in this case I enjoy how the mangaka showcase everyones feelings and how each one react up on their belief or their experience (not the random schoolgirl that exposed Sachi just cuz she was jealous for the teacher and didn’t know that there would be such consequences).

Even Sachi’s father who was exagerating in all his actions and words are something that could happen in real life as well.

I agree, this manga is very interesting and educational in a sense.
Just a note, the morning after pill is not always 100% effective. The only way to not get pregnant is not having sex. There are some cases when women "tie their tubes" or men "get snipped" and STILL are able to conceive.
The ML mom doesn't seem to support her son being with the MC. The MC's father doesn't seem outright support them either. It's true, in real life, some people are literally kicked out or cut off from family in this situation. MC is given the option and educated on abortion. Would you like to see a manga that explores both of these scenarios fully? Is that what you mean by it's not fully covered?

Yes ty, if you have spmething else to recomand me in regards to this topic I would definetly read it (if I find it well written and not rushed).

Yes, this manga is focusing in only one character and therefore it can’t tell topics such as abortion etc.. If it have had other protagonist in the same situation but with diferent outcomes it would have been better in my opinion because the mangaka is good in expressing the feelings of the characters.

My only complaint is that the story feels a bit romanticized and a lot of situation are in favour of Sachi and helps her outcome the situation she is in and gives the force to her to continue with the pregnancy. I feel thaT lack reality if that makes sense.
Is the same feeling as reading a shoujo manga if that makes sense.

Indeed there are cases and cases where people get pregnant no matter what, but the morning pill can save some situations if you are risking a pregnancy that isn’t planned.

Thank you for clarifying! I honestly, can't recall another manga that comes near this one in regards to teenage pregnancy. I can see what you mean by it being a bit more romanticized. I think part of it is, Sachi has access to a lot of resources. Definitely not the case for everyone. She has some sort of support system (teachers, guidance counselors, doctors, nurses, her mom and her boyfriend is sticking around). I really enjoy reading it. I wonder how far into Sachi's future they will go.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts as well ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ I enjoy exchanging opinion and ideas (≧∀≦)

For my personal taste I would have prefered for this manga to be more raugh and dawn to eart since it is a serious matter being pregnant in teenage years. For this reason I can’t stop feeling that something is missing in this manga. But this would mean for it to lean towards adult readers.

The mangaka has a more soft aproach to the story, I believe it is because she writes shoujo mangas as well so she has that specific technic (that’s why I’m getting that feeling I mentioned earlier) and is not done intentionally. This means that this manga is more a family friendly one and it makes it easy to read.

    So is 50/50 it mostly depends on people’s taste ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

If you read the ending Q&A in almost every volumen she says she mainly wrote this for educational purposes specially for her 4 y/o daughter, thats why the approach she tookwas more "Shoujoesque" she wants to show the complicated scenarios but keeping hope and a "happy ending" and I agree, a more darker story will also fall to much in drama territory and would PROBABLY end up feeling preachy, I think Sachi and Takara still have it rough, she still had to drop out and their families fell apart/aren't going to be the same, even if everything is "right" some other things are lost forever anyway, their future too is uncertain.
Is not that I would't read a darker story, but this one is okay the way it is and is a good "middle point" not completely happy but not depressive either, the flow feels more natural that way, to me ofc.

I think the happy feeling comes mostly from them being a solid couple at their age, Takara is heaven sent honestly lol, if you are going to get pregnant young, having Takara as the dad/partner is a big plus lmao man really is swallowing his pride and pain, working like crazy and acting like a responsable adult that not even some actual adults are, he still makes time to be a good lover, he is 100% the most fictional part in this because I've never met a BF like that in Real life, even less one involved in a teen/undesired pregnancy and thats sad.

Once a mangaka make certain stories they usually follow that pattern. She could have explained this story still aiming at the educanional purpose but not in a “Shoujesk” way.
I didn’t say that the characters don’t have a difficult time, but their evolution is positive in term of helping them surpass this situation. It is a good, but not 100% real as you saw.
I don’t want a darker story but a more raw one where I can feel it is part of reality, good or bad development. And yes this is a middle point story to make young audience read it and not feel oppressed or shamefull about this topic. But for some other audience this may feel romantized or have mixed feelings as I saw in the coments. Others would have apreciated a more realistic story. You can’t fully acomodate all needs, but this isn’t a bad story overall.
Their parents are just scared and worried for their kids, is normal that they are in a fighting stage. One waters settle down they will make peace.
For me the happy feelings comes from how the mangaka tells the story, Takara is barely in the story most times.
