Emil is MC's son from the first world/dimension (her first life), the father is Franz. Before her first life ended, Franz kidnapped their son and disappeared. The reason why is because Franz was brainwashed by MC's evil half sister than MC didn't love Franz (and he's a jealous, petty SOB).
So in the recent chapters, MC brought Franz from her second life to the first dimension to wake Emil up from a deep spell.
