This gives me the question if he's actually stupid or just pretending to be. Why are the villagers so scared of him anyway? What do they know that we don't? Is he playing with the teach because he has something to gain, or does he actually like him.. also im wondering IF he is half maggot half human, could that give him some kind of stop to being intimate with humans, or makes him sick? Or is he just overall disgusted by it and playing pretend? Maybe it was fully unrelated to the kiss and he's sick? I have so many questions and some don't even make sense..
