Yeah, Penelope definitely isn’t your classic “hero” type but honestly it’s kind of cathartic. Even though I feel like Derrick deserves to suffer more than Eckles, I know that if I was in her situation I’d probably want to crash out on him too. Since he’s literally the one who brought in Ivonne and betrayed her. In that sense it kind of (?) is his fault. But yeah she definitely manipulated him and is still manipulating him for her own gain.
People acting like Penelope didn't specifically make him like this by buying him when he had no one, no friends no family nothing and then, manipulating and love bombing him so she could get that 100% to leave the game. Penelope did that selfishly and you know it. He is not absolved of being a weirdo but Penelope made him like that.
