A lot of ppl who cry about AI don’t even know how to differentiate what AI look like. They fr just want to find something as an excuse to hate about. They seriously call anything AI now.
AI is a very valid thing to hate considering how it steals information in order to function. (Unless artists enthusiatically consent which is finding a needle in a hay stack". However I do agree throwing the claim around with no prior knowledge or care is dangerous.
im one of the people who think it's AI, it's not the use of 3d assets pinging me but the inconsistent way they draw/color/render things like face or eyes. I'd understand it if it was different per character, but it's different for the same character in different chapters. that's kinda suspicious. at most, i suspect the artist is using ai to help out on coloring but draws everything else manually but still.
Idk if you realize cause maybe you’re too used to perfect professional artists, but it’s very common and normal for “less skilled” artists to not be able to draw consistently. That’s just one of the more known difficult things to do as an artist. There’s a bunch of manhua artists who aren’t able to stay consistent
Guys. Im a digital artist. Im huge against AI. I saw yall saying “you can totally see their use of AI in chapter 1 especially”. Guys. I analyzed chapter one, THOSE ARE 3D ASSETS. Stuff like that is used even in old comics. Example: look at I Love Yoo, they use alot of 3D assets as well but that comic was started WAYYYYYY before AI. Their lineart looks like real lineart with some lines having a slight wobble (i felt that ). “This is ai, im dropping” OMFG. STOP. YOU KNOW THE AMOUNT OF REAL ASS ARTISTS IK WHO HAVE BEEN FIGHTING AI CLAIMS NONSTOP? If you’re not an artist yourself, you probably dont realize the amount of 3D assets and stamps and stuff u can buy and use to speed up your process. Its not AI guys. I’ve seen people turn their comic characters into stamps and just stamp on basic expressions too. Like if youre not aware of the shortcuts, ofc ure gonna think every little thing is AI. SO IF U DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT URE TALKING ABOUT QUIT ATTACKING ARTISTS AND ACTING LIKE U KNOW FOR CERTAIN.
