Nah, i dont think the author tried to make us sympathize with the father esp after reading the author's note. Author actually mentions that she wanted to show how trash of a person, husband and dad he is. And while reading his POV i actually felt it. I did not feel a tid bit of "sympathy" to the dad. Im cursing him in my mind all throughout lmao

Seriously though, I said to myself before start reading this "We read and we don’t judge."
But you know what I am lost for word. This fuking parents. They are so fucked up and made that little baby twisted in the process. And don’t even get me start with that father. He is lesser than a human being. Whine like a 5 year old kid and soo selfish. And that mom is fuking abusive sh!t.
Author really tried hard to make reader sympathize with the father. Don't know about others but it made me GAG more. He didn’t love his wife even once, he just took everything for granted. He thought of someone loves him, it automatically give him the free pass to do everything.
