She kills her brother by stabbing his heart(?) and becomes the emperor herself and after that she brutally tortures every single one of them who was involved in her life long abuse. Although some did say that the brother got an easy death and should've suffered more. However she does start acting a bit like her brother (not as bad) after ascending the throne, you know scary and emotionless (maybe its just the aftermath of whatever happened to her), but ml helped her to stabilize her position and yeah overall its a happy ending. They've a daughter later.
How long does it take to get there? Are we even a quarter of the way through?

Im not sure abt that coz I've myself only read this in bits and pieces and got spoilers from novel updates. Though I believe he's killed in the middle of the story and not at the end coz after his death there is this whole part of her being the new ruler and political stuff + focus on her relationship with the ml etc. Fl kinda gets a bit annoying at some point but I think I do understand where she's coming from.
