As someone who is genophobic, finding representation that I relate to is extremely difficult. I’ve never felt so seen in my whole life. While my genophobia doesn’t stem strictly from religion like Kuki, his breakdowns during intimacy are identical to mine. I had to take multiple breaks while reading just because of how well the author was able to portray how difficult it is. I wish there was more media like this
