yeah, this doesn’t really fall under grooming or pedophilia, they knew each other for like months (a year at most) before khalid “died” and when khalid was a kid, they did nothing inappropriate nor was ilya ever hinted to have romantic feelings already by that point.
i guess it was a little confusing? bec they seemed to just click into love when they met again, i think it would have helped to have a few chapters of them falling in love after the reunion, but the story is meant to be short.

guys i don't justify pedophilia and grooming whatsoever but i think it's really different in this manga because it was set in an entire different era and they didn't really engage in that stuff until Khalid was legal the story is so good and ofc I was shocked about the kid at first but the story developed really nicely and it's probably one of the best omegaverse story I've ever read
