Okay what I’ve gathered from this is that the mc’s memories are sealed because of a plan that the mc and wifey made TOGETHER. So him following what she tells him to do is all part of a grand plan. So she may SEEM manipulative but in fact this is part of the mc’s plan (prior to his memories being sealed). If his memories become unsealed or he ends up knowing too much then their plan will fail which is why it is safest that he is left in the dark. So I don’t rlly see this as manipulative since it’s part of a plan the mc, himself, created. Just gotta wait and see why it was necessary for his memories to be sealed. They make it seem like he’ll regain his memories soon but…I wouldn’t be surprised if another hundred chapters passed by till then.
you're dead on about another 100 chaps passing before we see any movement there lol. What you say makes a lot of sense and I'm sure it'll all make sense in the end, but until then I'll probably keep projecting my own insecurities about being kept in the dark and people laughing behind my back onto it... lol

So wifey is manipulative AF as well as petty, but could it be that she has knowledge of future events and is therefore manipulating the MC so that he can be at the right place/time to take care of those events? Doesn't make me like her any more though
