From everyone else’s perspective she’s turned unstable and tyrannical.

She fired the maids for… doing what she told them to. She’s incredibly hostile when challenged on her sudden change in demands and expects total obedience from another lady with no explanation.

The original Aylee might have been a monster, but she at least made the attempt to justify her reasoning. Our protagonist 180s on all Aylee’s previous demands and punishes people for taking time to adapt, or even wanting some kind of explanation.
