I thought that in a country where gay marriage is not legally recognised, one of the lovers adopts the other one so that they are formally binded (as if they are married) & for legal purposes? i get that the seme wants to be recognised as a lover, not a brother. but wouldnt removing him from the family registrar will make things inconvenient (and how are they supposed to 'get married'?)
