Yeah I read that too. It was dark but not one that I'm uncomfortable with since I'm desensitized to all sorts of violence in fiction (not in real life), but I still like how the mother chose to spill the beans because of something Abel did out of the kindness of his heart, it's more aligned with the core theme of the story of how Regas is the only one who can soften the heart of the dragon
It's kinda funny but I can immediately tell from the comments which ones are used to reading stories with violence and gore in them and which ones aren't lol but anyways, perhaps the manhwa toned it down but I appreciate how the artist still managed to portray the dragon temperament that Karas has
