THIS, Seoin is literally taking it out on Yeongwoon for “abandoning him” when in fact he was just physically/emotionally abused boy who escaped a toxic household.
I genuinely don’t know what happened for Yeongwoon to stop standing up for himself when he clearly can when he stood up to that one guy for Seoin. Maybe because his job as an adult requires him to be the “middle ground” or to act complacent, or maybe in some twisted way he loves Seoin too much to say anything back bc he’s afraid of losing him regardless of that it’s definitely not okay.
Lowkey yall once we get past these time skip chapters and return to the present I kinda want Seoin to grovel a little or to see Yeongwoon stand his ground firmer. Cuz mind you, Yeongwoon was an innocent by strander that got dragged through the shits because of Seoin. Was it all Seoin’s fault? No. But even in present time Seoin is a manipulative dickhead. So honestly, I want Yeongwoon to grow a backbone and lash out for once
