i kind of get what you're trying to say, but it's also not the mc fault if he's already moved on no. and if it's really the blonde guy who left mc?? then blonde guy suddenly showed up then acts like nothing happened which is okay but ofc, he's part of the past, he'll be uncomfortable because he remembers the past while blonde acts chill and all, keeps talking to the mc abt whatnot like normal clasmate, but then he suddenly snapped back at mc like??? okay okay, he's stuck in the past and he's jealous, that's true already, but we can't really blame mc for trying to reach out. maybe if blonde guy will really clear the line to him, maybe he'll stop, right? but blonde guy acts nothing and mc don't know what he's thinking abt, that's why he wanted to communicate
Everyone's hating but honestly, I get the guy. I feel like Misuzu IS doing it to calm his own conscience down more than it being that he cares for this guy. I've been in similar situations and can say that most of the time when someone 'moves on' from their past they want to tie all lose threads to feel truly happy and fulfilled, and he's just one of Misuzu's lose threads. Misuzu wants to feel worthy and in the same standing as Kitahara, as such, he's trying to 'fix' this guy from his past. Everyone's so blind to MCs innocence and his love story with the ML that they think they're flawless but honestly it irks me. After that first incident he never actively went after MC anymore and even talked cordially to him. It's the MC who's CHASING AFTER HIM and who's FORCING him to open up to him when they haven't been close in a long time, and who knows maybe Misuzu WAS the one who left him behind?? Misuzu just wants him back as his best friend so he can finally gave a complete fulfilled life. Imagine the person you hate and made you feel miserable move on from that past and be happy while you're still stuck in that past you were put in. Everyone will feel upset. Jealous even. It's HUMAN. Misuzu is not entitled to anything from him, he's not entitled to befriend Misuzu again or be all happy happy for him. I don't hate Misuzu I love the ML and MC but maybe think a little past that too.
