Hi ^.^ in chap 56 it was mentioned "and into the family who bears his resemblance" so i think yes, hyo-un stuck around with the Yoo family thinking taehyuk will reincarnate in one of the descendants. and in chap 1 its says, servitude to the spirit is rewarded with wealth, honor and power and even just the existence a dragon can make them prosperous. and we can't forget hyo-un went into a deep sleep too. i guess that contributed to them being prosperous.
actually i wondered why at all times hyo-un only woke up even when taehyuk is all grown up but now it kinda make sense that you mentioned the age. Taehyuk is 33 in present and he died too at 33 in past life, so the right time for them to meet is at 33. haha.

No worries! I finished season 2 last night so I got my answers. I am also invested in the story. The weird reverse grooming vibes was killing my mood at first but these two are so cute so I couldn't help but continue on.

I knew he would be dead in the past to have been reincarnated in the present, but that still hurt. Poor Hyoun, had to see the love of his life die in front of him. I do wonder how he ended up bound to the Yoo family. Was it because he was waiting for Taehyuk to reincarnate so he decided to make sure the Yoo family remains prosperous?
So I guess in the present timeline, Taehyuk is also 33 so he will finally gain his memories. He was 23 when he ran away from the palace since he took care of Hyoun for 10 years. I wonder what the age difference is between Hyun and Taehyuk. Feels bad that he died thinking Hyun sent the assassain when it was the Eunuch. But I can't even blame the Eunuch because he was doing what's good for the country, and what the country needs is a sane king that will make the country prosperous. This still blows tho.
