So ml's older bro wanted mc to spy on ml so he gave mc money. Mc took it coz he will just use it to buy ml food and it was mentioned in novel that he informed ml about this deal. Ml is having a confrontation with his sis and blondy coz blonde is ml's ex and got close to him so he can kill ml. So when mc told blonde that he is with ml he tried to kill/ hurt mc by working with mc brother....this ml came to know hence this confrontation.
Novel spoiler: among the siblings mc sis was intelligent but ml was both intelligent and stronger. In fact he has had pheromone shocks since his childhood. He never remembered those episodes so he always thought that the people he injured during shock were done by some intruders. That's what he was telling his dad in ch 38. Everyone knew the truth except him. It happened 2-3 times. Then his dad left him in the mountains with a nanny and told him to become watcher. There he spent most his time in wolf form. Ml always believed if he completed this training he will be able to return home. He had three other friends with him who were also training....but seeing his strength they decided to betray ml and ml fell in pheromone shock and almost killed them...disabling them one of those 3 friends was blonde's older brother. Hence he wanted revenge for his bro becoming a cripple. After that he was the only one to stay there. Ml and his siblings were very close in their childhood, so he always believed that he has a home to return to. He was always in pain coz of his extremely strong pheromone which was always above normal level. When he finally returned to his home it was his sis birthday. He realised that day that he had truly become the watcher.....his sis was extremely cautious, didn't talk to him, all his siblings and other clan members were afraid of him and avoiding him. He was not welcome any more. He understood he never had a place to call home where he could belong where can return any longer. He lost it the day his dad sent him away. Ever since then ml became so twisted and cruel.
This was exactly the same case with puppy as well so ml was so much attached to mc . Ml never wanted to be the watcher...his dad made that decision.
