There is a way to make it redeemable. There is a piano piece by Rachmaninoff called - Etude - Tableau in D minor Op. 39 No. 8.
Listening to this doesn't make the gore disturbing. I found it distrubing on the 1st read and couldn't finish but after listening to this, I felt the beauty and mysticism of intimate flesh to flesh contact which symbolised something deeper.
This piece OWNS this manga.
