Silence (novel) is the actual original world, the world they're in right now is Huimins “Made up” world, Novel Huimin was so traumatized and unstable he drew pictures of what he would've wanted to happen, what life he would've wanted to live and it did happen. So their world is the one made up, not the other way around.
