ugh no kidding. it happened with this other manhwa (forgot the title but it had a shaman who os scamming the ml) and i was one of the readers who argued that the ml was not a red flag at all but the author decided to make the ml go ooc just before the season ended making it appear that he was indeed a red flag. it's like a story nowadays can't get ppl interested if one of the main characters isn't a red flag. it's infuriating

does it tho? when it comes to that its usually clear from the get-go lol, but tbh i can think of a few stories where that happened so i understand where ure coming from. i just think its rash to jump to such a conclusion just because its supposedly happened before with different stories that arent even this one. plus im pretty biased with nerd project cuz its so unrealistic and it would be bad writing for the author to suddenly make andrew an obsessive "red flag" when shes already demonstrated that she is a good writer

Probably not as often as I made it sound I agree but the few times it's happened in the stories I read have been so disheartening that I now proceed with caution with most stories. I think people just love this too much and are just feeling anxious because it's not unheard of that stories start off with really good writing then suddenly go south. I understand the source of anxiety but also agree Andrew's actions don't warrant such a strong reaction
so sick of seeing "pls dont turn my green flag into a red flag!!" in the comment sections of stories when the ml makes a singular morally questionable decision...exact same thing happened w hounds of sisyphus mfs switch up too quick!
