No to grooming but an ehh kinda it's complicated to the second
The story seems to be about a guy picking up a kid and raising him, but the kid isn't a kid and it's not the first time they've met. Lots of unraveling the past and forgotten memories. The story and folklore are dense and romance is pretty slowburn.
Grooming eeh ? If you take it literally they both groomed each other at different phases in their life at one point

Idk I skipped to one of the chapters and the older one was literally teaching the younger one (now grown up) how to have sex. Ik it's probably better in context but it still rubs me the wrong way. Guess it's just not my cup of tea.
Can someone let me know if this is the grooming trope (raising a kid who becomes ur lover when they're grown). I've been curious about this for a while since I've heard good things but I'm not a huge fan of the trope so I wanna know ahead of time
