sure, but it wasn't THIS fucked ever. All he did was crash out pretty hard because he thought someone was stalking him again and fall in love and get attached wayy too quick. Those are all pretty normal reactions for a severely traumatized person so the story could've totally gone in the we're dealing with this shit seriously and gonna take him on a slow healing path while some plot happens kinda direction. Which was what I was expecting to happen, to see it go in the psycho direction is unexpected and I'm allowed to be taken aback.

He was a red flag in that he got attached too fast and as kinda obsessive, those are shit that can be observed in real life as well and didn't go to the extent of 'this kinda psycho can only ever be appealing in manhwa' type behavior yet. The plot was plotting and the chemistry was chemistrying so to expect the manhwa to take him on a healing journey or smth was totally in the lines of expectation. I think it's reasonable to be surprised when it suddenly takes a sharp turn this way.

he's not a freak cuz he's got issues, I said that cuz the dude stabbed his own hand to get attention. Like yes, he is traumatized and he deserves therapy and needs to get better and he has my empathy for that; but, taking a step back, forgetting the pretty art, this type of behavior is legit dangerous and isn't a 'oh, I know you're struggling and I'll be with you every step of the way' kinda issue, this became a 'oh shit, he needs to fucking run RIGHT NOW' kinda issue. I was expecting the manhwa to go in the first direction and to see it become the 2nd was surprising and disappointing.
why do authors find it so hard to create an interesting story with characters that are not fucked up. just why. This was going well but now andrew's slowly being shown to be a freak, I can't do this. Having characters that are just plain ol good doesn't mean it'll be boring, you can still make it fun! whyyyy must it go in this direction
