welp i'm just gonna pretend i didn't see u mentioning mahiru because guren HATED that girl for sureeee but why don't u see him as a love interest? isn't it obvious dr. seok and major kwak are future love partners (since they don't have label yet or wtv), also they're the main characters after all
OMG IM SO SORRY, i thought you meant the guy with the glasses LMAO. no i definitely agree that major kwak and dr. seok are partners, and i think that while their relationship is a bit iffy at times from our standards, that they work really well together :] also about mahiru, idk if you’ve read the light novels about guren but their relationship was…interesting lol. not so much as he hated her but it’s just very complicated lol
i'm sure i'm not the only one but major kwak soohwan resembles guren ichinose from owari no seraph/seraph of the end in any way as possible, i'm convinced that his character traits and personality are inspired by guren, given that this also has an apocalypse based storyline and plots that are actually great and interesting.
as for the ppl who pointed out abt soohwan's character as a potential love interest of dr. seok hwa, i do agree that major kwak is a yellow flag or more so, orange flag ig, he's not a red flag to dr. seok but he's definitely also not a green flag. he acts cold and hot to dr. seok but we still cannot say that he's entirely a red flag to the doctor as he was just fulfilling his duties considering that he holds many titles in the rainbow city, even gets trusted to investigate for a major character for their research group in the yeouido shelter. basically, he's just balancing his love and work life but still, one thing's for sure is that major kwak has an obsession for dr. seok
