I mean, you can be non-romantically and non-sexually attracted to someone. Like friend-ttraction, so could just be this is my destined friend-mate?

Yall bashing on a character that was most definitely made to secure/make their relationship stronger, the gaps in the red string are definitely there to show that it was that path he was destined to take but he chose his own instead (in the flashback to the different era) which is pretty fucking cool!! Also red string doesn’t always have to be romantic it can be just love or a connection that is strong and bonded them together
