The slow burn here was awful in the best of ways. I could really feel Astina's struggle, and watching Terriod cry would make me want to claw my face off each and every time. It was a beautiful read, with outstanding pacing and such a clever yet simple use of paneling that sometimes it'd leave me floored. I wish I could live forever in the midway point of this story, where Terriod and Astina were going off to get frisky at each and every opportunity lol. The only thing I didn't like about this manhwa is that it ends before giving us some of that sickly sweet romance again I know they needed that big fight in order to come out stronger and more certain of themselves and their feelings-- but I really wanted to see them be lovey dovey!!! Wahh I think the rebellion midway through Astina and Terriod's fight ended up making it seem much longer than it needed to be, which tbh was kind of aggravating (since, again, I really enjoyed seeing them be sweet to eachother and I craved it so much)-- buttt I also really enjoyed to see them each fight not only with but also *for* the other, in a way. "You can't have your cake and eat it, too" as they say.
Anyway! This was a realy beautiful story. I loved it to bits, and I'll probably keep coming back here from time to time to wallow myself in Astina and Terriod's affectionate period. (As well as Terriod's many crying faces... he has one damn beautiful tear-stricken face!)
