i think it's because even if he is a teary person (and an over thinker), he kind of has a backbone and isnt annoying like the usual crybabies
Yeah and his teary eyes are genuinely so cute too
I usually hate when the bottom is so crybaby-like, but this one is an exemption for some reason. He's so silly
