Please help me find this

I only remember bits of this story but if anyone can help me find this, so it's basically this guy living in this apartment and then he gets a weird neighbor and then the neighbors microwave explodes or some like that and they're investigating that but while that's happening the neighbors also like omg can I come live with you and the guy did agree to let him stay I also remember throughout the story there were a bunch of houses getting burned down so they were searching for an arsonist, but one thing I remember the neighbor saying to the guy was like oh this place isn't safe for you or something like that and it appeared that the neighbor was from the future or maybe knew what was going to happen, and I'm pretty sure this was a bl (that's all I remember please anyone help)
