i read spoilers somewhere else so these may not be 100% accurate but this is what i remember

so apparently the current lord of kallak is the one that set up the murder of the old lord. i believe that lister was involved and they (the knights) were the ones that allowed the intruders in to kill the old lord. i’m not sure if Slan was supposed to be there, but since he was they ended up pinning the murder on him. since lister cooperated with the plan, the lord gives Slan to lister as a slave. lisbeth knows all of this, and i believe while she does pity Slan, she doesn’t want her brother to get in trouble so she helps them cover it up. they are the ones who got rid of Slan’s memories, and as far as i know, he never suffered from madness at all. Gjord is suspicious and doesn’t think that Slan did it, but because he is an Epssen, when the war breaks out he is forced to leave for two years and can’t do anything to help. so yeah the siblings are trash and Slan is innocent. i also know how it ends, so if you wanna know that too just let me know :3

okay okay so basically Sylhan will regain his memories with the help of Gjord and will realize that he was set up. somehow this starts a war and Sylhan is like leading it ? he’s basically back to his old self so yeah. lister ends up dying in the war, but i’m not sure if Gjord/Sylhan are the ones to kill him. but yeah he does die although a lot of people wanted it to be more violent lol. as far as i know, lisbeth doesn’t really face any punishment besides the death of her brother, and Sylhan and Gjord are happy. like i said, this may not be 100% accurate but that’s the jist of it !!
