TAKATORA x ARISAKA

Does anyone else ship them? I low-key wanted them to end up together. If it weren’t for Arisaka, Takatora would’ve been in serious trouble. Arisaka went out of his way to save him—even knowing how awful Takatora could be. There was just something between them… a kind of chemistry you can’t ignore. I honestly think they cared about each other, even if they couldn’t say it out loud.

But Takatora—ugh, his highness—just couldn’t admit it. Instead of saying how he felt, he wanted to own Arisaka, to keep him around like some kind of side piece. Seriously? F* you, Takatora. I love his character, but at the same time, I can’t stand him. He drives me crazy in the best and worst ways. It’s that maddening mix of admiration and frustration; you want to hug him and slap him at the same time.

Arisaka knew the second he heard that, he had to move on. So he let himself drift away, quietly. It breaks my heart, honestly—his life was already so heavy because of his toxic parents, and on top of that, he had his hormonal health issues. And yet, he still had the strength to walk out into the world on his own. I’m so grateful the author gave him someone who truly loves him. They’re adorable together, and Arisaka deserves that kind of softness.

Still… sometimes, in the back of my mind, I can’t help but wonder: what if Takatora had just said, ‘I need you by my side’?

I get why people ship Takatora and Arisaka—there is chemistry, and Arisaka saving Takatora from that assault was huge. Their dynamic is complex and weirdly magnetic. But personally, I can’t root for them as a couple.

Like... Arisaka r*ped him. That wasn’t spicy or morally gray—it was straight-up trauma. And Takatora trying to “own” Arisaka afterward, like a side piece he keeps around? That’s not love, that’s control. Their relationship is built on power games, manipulation, and unresolved pain. Even when they connect later, it’s transactional—money, sex, status—not emotional vulnerability.

They do understand each other in a way others can’t. There are real moments—like the quiet post-sex talks, or when Arisaka admits Takatora’s glare made the predators back off. But it’s not healthy. It’s codependent survival wrapped in sharp edges.

Arisaka walking away? That was strength. I’m glad he found someone who sees him and not just what he can offer.

So yeah, I love the ship too—but for me, their bond was important... just not endgame.

Facts I only ship takatora with kameyama cause Kameyama is teaching him how to treat his partner as an equal and not try to dominant the relationship like takatora and arisaka was trying to do with each other. Also arisaka wants to be the dominant one in the relationship and that's what it looks like he got with his green flag alpha.

As the author hinted that it could be a harem ending. So I think both the shipper group can be happy......or maybe not lol
