I don’t know if there’s anything “wrong with him” per se. It’s more likely the exhaustion of the same tired trope where we have to stick around looking at the tired ass face of the ML who doesn’t want to commit to the MC and plays up being a playboy when there’s a perfectly loveable second ML being presented that the audience knows will never have a chance.

I get that but out of all the times I’ve seen this trope I think this is handled the best in this one.for example a similar trope is in BJ Alex, and I think it’s Portrayed much worse in that one.like the fact that he knew from the start that the main character was in love With him and still chose to be in That situation while still not wanting him to Date him. But in this case, they agreed for the hairstylist to help him, and that was it, and when he got the idea that the main character liked him, he instantly set a boundary and said that he didn’t want to be exclusive. I also wouldn’t necessarily say that the main love interest is a Playboy obviously we know that he has a weird relationship with that celebrity, but he called him his stalker so I doubt he likes him. so he’s only Intimate the main character. They’re just not dating. but I don’t know maybe it’s cause I just don’t really have an issue with this Trope

For sure, it’s definitely a matter of taste with tropes. But from what I see, the comments aren’t comparing this with other mangas so that’s not necessarily relevant (in the matter of “ BJ Alex was worse”) just focusing specifically on this story, readers are irritated with the ML who has set his boundaries of “I only do FWBs” on a naive MC who he KNOWS is infatuated with him (it is very clear he is aware but is manipulating the situation to his advantage, though you’re right it is presented as “therapy” for MC.)
Yes, they both are clear on the situation but that’s why it’s so frustrating. It’s like okay, then how are you going to sit here and drag us through an entire plot of what we know is the ML being unreasonably jealous and taking it out on MC (he already shows this in small ways but no doubt we’ll see it escalate) despite saying he isn’t into relationships while second ML is going to court MC because he IS into relationships. But the toxic cycle will prevail and let the guy with solid intentions and character get tossed aside after moving the plot along.
(Sorry that was a lot, hope it makes sense! Totally see your view though!!)

I don’t know I don’t think his jealousy is going to escalate, especially not in a bad way. Obviously, I know I’m they’re going to end up together and I’m sure that’s going to happen most likely with the main character trying moving on and then him chasing him or something like that. But I think, especially with this most recent chapter, it shows that he wouldn’t get unreasonably mad at the main character for whatever he’s doing. It might be a different case for how he will react towards woori. But I really don’t see the love interest becoming unreasonably jealous towards the main character.
Don’t get me wrong I like woori He’s a great character, but there’s really nothing wrong with the main Love interest either so why is everybody so mad?
