I mean, Gwon Gol seemed remorseful being the cause of death of the Grand Princess. It's either there was a misunderstanding or he realized his feelings too late. Still tho, what he only has is her body not her soul, so there's really no point. It seems he just want to satisfy his guilt. If he really wanted to atone, he should either follow her in the after life or live to change and atone for the rest of his life.
This, "atleast I see her she'll live the life she deserved" is not giving :/ Also digging up her corpse is disturbing the peace that she chose for herself. It just isn't right.
