I get wym but it was obvious from the start he "dated" an adult. Im on the fence on what the author will do going forward but as of now I think the way is handle goes accordingly with his character
Specifically since its kinda emphasized that both were gonna leave it as a student's confession if it wasn't by the way the people around the teacher influenced the relationship (not defending the teacher here), also the fact that after getting together is automatically jumped back to the present with "it was a short lived relationship" bc it was not meant to even happen (although if author chooses to make them a possible new pairing I'm taking all this back )
I'm in my last year in university doing education major and going to school as intern teacher (not sure if this is the right term) in a middle school and I can't imagine something like this with one of my students. This is wild and Hikaru or whatever the fuck his name is know this. I really can't understand the mindset author had when they wrote this part of the story.
Do we really needed this type of shit? I thought Miyai's story would be interesting because he had an interesting character at the start of the story but I'm not sure anymore. Miyai's character would be still as interesting as it is now even if he had feelings towards a boy his own age. I just hope author would fix this part of the story and make us forget about it.
