I like how the story also centers on how being 'closeted' is. If you people can't handle a complex character nor a complex story then DONT read this. it's like, of course we are our own preferences but yk, it's not always freaking rainbow and sunshine that everyone gets to be as open about their sexuality. Shizume is such an in depth character that I'm glad he exists (fictional).
But struggles aside, he, himself is also putting so much effort for kiume like ≤ . love them both so so frikin much. I am not going to tolerate hate on these sweet beings.
They are my fave couple. I know they aren't the most perfect BUTTTT, i feel like they're also everything a couple is missing. I like how theyre both so open with their flaws and even if it's embarrassing, they both COMMUNICATE and theyre both CONSCIOUS of their partners. It's one thing to communicate and it's another thing to UNDERSTAND what one is saying. I really really LOVE LOVEE kiume. My dude is an absolute sweetheart. He's so unbelievably understanding of shizume, it's unreal how he's willing to go to such lengths recognizing shizume's struggles. It's like he respects shizume so much and he's really making him take his time how ever long it takes. It's such goals, you know? For someone to adjust that much for their partner.. it really says a lot. I think this couple is a unique case I haven't ever seen in any of the hundred plus stories I've read. Like, whoa.. i'm just astonished.
