I think so, yeah. All you need to know about pearl boy is that they ended up together at the end. This is a new story about completely different characters. Shouldn't be a problem.

Is it possible to read this BL without having read most of pearl boy?? I couldn't bring myself to finish pearl boy bc of all the non-con that's in it but I'm intrigued to read this story bc the art is so beautiful and the bottom is gorgeous
