Tbh Azazel is known as many things but in this story he's probably the fallen angel, the watcher angel, Azazel. Practically he's loyal to Lucifer but is still loved by the Gods so he's kinda still known as an angel, hence his name being the Watcher angel. But he's also at the same time a demon. Hence probably why he has 2 different forms tbh. Now what else... he was sent to the humans as an observer of human kind but he ended up teaching humans forbidden knowledge hence corrupting them hence leading to the God or whatever to send the Great Flood.
He's one of the leaders of 200 other observer angels... he's also one of the most dangerous but whatever. Tbh probably in this case there won't be 200 other observer angels but who knows maybe there's are in other forms.
He and the other angels did lust over human women, hence the painting they show.
As for his end it would be in the abyss of fire but I'm not really sure if this story is set after his 'end' or before or maybe they just won't even add his end in this.
