If I may share my thoughts here...
The uploader was also clarifying that there was a mistake in the translations, so it wasn't a notice to simply expose their opinions. Additionally, this person is providing us with a fully translated manga we, otherwise, would not be able to read or would have to pay a hefty price to do it. I think notices to clarify corrections in mistranslations are extremely important since most people just skip the scan's comments on chapters because they wanna read the story. (I'm guilty of doing that myself)
As for them exposing their opinion, I didn't feel like they were telling me how I should feel, but rather trying to explain the author's perspective by clarifying some things. All of us here are capable of making our own decision regardless what a harmless 1 page notice says, the uploader isn't responsible for that.

Anyways, I still like the story bc I love the main couple, so I'll keep reading even if the side couple is kinda creepy

They may have just commented? Or put the notice at the start of the next chapter. Also there is a direct mistranslation but the raws and even the setting of the chapter still clearly implies he was in middle school. Objecting that it wasn’t pedophilia but still stated power imbalance??? hmm there’s a clear bias there and that is what I was stating was irresponsible as they are the ones translating it. Japan has a different age system and 16 can still be in middle school. Even in the story he stated that he was preparing for highschool. So what was the point of trying to “correct” the mistranslation? in order to lighten the fact that the guy was in college(?) and the boy was in middle school?

So you meant that it's irresponsible for them to say that it isn't pedophilia?
